Connecting with God
Put simply, prayer is conversation with God and it is a vital part of our church community. Prayer is an integral part of what we do in our Sunday services. During the week in the children and youth programmes, the young peoples and life groups, individuals get together and (as part of that time together) pray. As well as this, many committed people pray for urgent needs that arise in the life of our community, and for our church leaders, our ministries and our missionaries.
"God does nothing but by prayer, and everything with it."
John Wesley

"People are God's method. The church is looking for better methods; God is looking for better people. What the church needs today is not more machinery or better, not new organizations or more and novel methods, but people who the Holy Spirit can use—people of prayer, people mighty in prayer. The Holy Spirit does not come on machinery but on people. He does not anoint plans, but people—people of prayer."
E. M. Bounds
How Can I get Connected?
We can all pray individually, but there is something very powerful about praying as part of a team.
“Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew18:19-20
