As a leadership team, we’re thankful for the quality of young people we are privileged to be able to invest in. For each team leader, we’re inspired to see the depth of individual relationships with Jesus, the hunger and desire that teenager’s claim in their faith and the friendships which are built amongst the group of people who meet on

Friday evenings...

 

Our Y Zone leadership team has benefitted from a weekend retreat @ Quinola Lakes. This time enabled us to debrief our 2010 journey, plan for 2011 and re-structure where necessary. Personally, Glen and I are encouraged by the commitment, dedication and love that our leaders put in place when it comes to getting alongside our teenagers – it sure makes parenting easier!

 If you are a Y Zone parent, you will be notified soon of the intended programs as they come about term by term. You might notice that Y Zone will usually happen on Friday evenings, but there may be variety with some Fridays being missed and a Saturday activity thrown in here and there! The 6 pm project is definitely happening again! The maturity of our youth and their desire to go deeper into Christ is so evident so this is definitely another important aspect of this ministry.

The annual Y Zone camp on Tinaroo Dam is booked for April 15 – 17 so please mark your diary. If you are able to begin praying over this event, that would be awesome! Maybe you might like to begin putting away some dollars to sponsor a teenager or just be prepared to pay your own child’s way! There will be more information soon.
